You may be looking for a safe place to explore your feelings and face the challenges you are experiencing, I offer a non judgmental setting, enabling you to speak confidentially in a supported environment. Contemplating therapy can be daunting; however, I will endeavour to make you feel at ease and allow you the space to explore your thoughts and feelings
Be the best version of you....
Areas I work in
Sometimes we face challenges or periods of change that rock our foundation often leaving us feeling vulnerable and isolated. You may feel stuck, at a crossroads in your life, trying to come to terms with a challenging situation or struggling with your self worth and self esteem.
Counselling provides a safe platform for you to verbalise your thoughts without judgement. I do not offer advice or solutions; I simply help to facilitate the process by enabling you to speak freely, in a confidential and secure space.
The counselling process may enable you to see things from a different perspective, link habitual behaviour and help you to think and feel differently, It can also offer insight, allowing you to change repetitive patterns or reconcile with past experiences.
The following are some of the areas I work with: self esteem, lack of confidence, bullying, depression, anxiety, stress, impostor syndrome, loneliness, anger, family conflict, grief, loss, attachment, infidelity and relationship issues; this list is not exhaustive.
I work with individuals over 18 and older adults. I am based in east London and Essex.
I also offer online therapy.

About Me
Pauline Warn B A Hons (MBACP)
I have a first class honours degree in Counselling (Integrative Therapy). I am a qualified, registered, experienced counsellor. I use an integrative approach which means I have an underlying theoretical foundation but incorporate techniques and skills from other theories which enables me to adapt to differing, individual, client needs.
I currently manage my private practice and mentoring service. I work for a community education/wellbeing project, a training provider together with the Department of Working Pensions delivering workshops. I am a partner counsellor for a charity who support women or those identifying as female, who have experienced gender based harm
I have breadth of experience, including working for an acute NHS service, in a prison setting, mental health charity and as a counsellor, mentor and clinical placement coordinator in both further/higher education. I have also taught on a counselling course at an inner city college.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and therefore adhere to their ethical framework which requires me to participate in continuing professional development and engage in clinical supervision.

Testimonials
What Clients Are Saying

I used Pauline's counselling service because I felt very stuck in life in the aftermath of the pandemic and was struggling to cope with my grief following my sister developing an aggressive form of cancer, her hospitalisation and then death.
I found speaking to Pauline very beneficial in processing extremely painful, difficult feelings and her insights valuable in helping me to see things from a different perspective. It helped me to not to feel overwhelmed by my feelings. I wish I had not struggled through earlier bereavements without counselling.

This was my first experience with 1 on 1 therapy and it was amazing working with Pauline It was great to speak each week with someone I could really trust and felt comfortable sharing everything with.
I was able to learn a lot about myself and it had a hugely positive impact on my life now I would highly recommend working with Pauline to anyone who has lost sight of themselves and I feel therapy has been a benefit to myself as well as everyone around me.
Thank you Pauline!

I contacted Pauline because I had had several family and friend bereavements and I was having trouble coming to terms with these sad events.
I found Pauline very easy to contact by email and she always responded quickly which I found very reassuring. I found her to be very professional and easy to communicate with. She was very reliable, always doing what she said she would do. She helped me to explore my feelings and experiences and helped me process them. At the end of my sessions with Pauline I felt as though I had been on a very interesting journey. I am a now calmer, happier and more at ease with myself.
Many thanks for all your help. I am in a much happier and better position
than I was when I started with your sessions

I reached out to Pauline during a time in my life when I felt very stuck
and unable to cope with daily life.
Pauline helped me work through past issues and through this, I got to understand myself better.
I am so pleased that I took the step to have counselling, Pauline created a safe, calm, space and the sessions really helped me navigate a big life change.
